Piano Cleaning

Piano cleaning is a very essential service needed for nearly all pianos. For upright pianos this includes vacuuming, blowing off the action, and wiping off the dust. The grand piano includes vacuuming, blowing off the action, cleaning under the strings, and cleaning the pine plate, and the plate. For grand pianos, it is more elaborate which is why it costs more. Dust collects very easily in the piano and that is why is necessary to clean it because if you don't the dust and dirt can build up causing friction to the parts of the piano action. You may think that you could clean the piano yourself, and I would definitely not recommend that. This is because the piano has wood that is finished and wood that is not, and if you use the wrong cleaning material on the wrong part of the piano it can cause significant damage. Also, if you accidentally get something on the strings that you shouldn't it could cause the strings and other metal parts to rust and become brittle causing the strings to break potentially. If you want I would recommend only vacuuming and cleaning out any other garbage that has accumulated on and in your piano. A full upright cleaning costs $50 and a full grand piano cleaning costs $360.
